Belgian Women in Science, also known as BeWise, organises its Annual General Meeting early this May. All members and supporters are kindly invited to take part. The event will take place at the Royal Institute for Natural Science in Brussels.
The UN proclaimed 22 May the International Day for Biological Diversity to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues.
The Consortium of European Taxonomic Facilities is preparing its Next General Assembly that will take place on 21-22 April 2015. The Botanic Garden Meise (Belgium) is the CETAF Member that will host this Meeting where 57 scientific research centres from 20 European countries will meet to debate on the strategic approach for addressing the new challenges that affect research on taxonomy and systematic biology, and also to work on the new projects and activities that will be carried out in the coming future, under the umbrella of this unique network of collections-based institutions.

The 35th CETAF General Meeting will take place in Oslo, 6-7 May, 2014, at the Munch Museum, Tøyengata 53, 0578 Oslo (Norway), located in the neighbourhood of our host Institution, the Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo.
Please register for the meeting at the General Secretariat of CETAF AISBL indicating whether you expect to take lunches on Tuesday and/or Wendsday and dinner on Tuesday evening, and if you have any dietary constraints.
